Quick FAQ

Q. My homeschool co-op organized 10 students to take a class assuming we’d all get a 50% discount, but at the last minute one student backed out. Do we still qualify for the “group of 10” discount?

A. This happens! You have two options: enroll at the slightly higher “7 or more” group rate (e.g. $120 vs. $100 for a 12-week class), or ask the remaining families to chip in and cover the fees of the phantom/“lost” student (in this case, an extra $11/per family).

Q. We are organizing a group, and some of our members qualify for a full waiver under the waiver policy. Do non-paying students count as members of a group for the purpose of determining discounts?

A. We’ll evaluate this on a case-by-case basis. In general yes — if you are a part of a parent group or homeschool co-op and one or two of your members qualify for a full waiver, yes, the rest of the group could still receive the group discount.

But if you are affiliated with a school or non-profit organization and the majority of your students are low-income, as part of our partnership we would expect you to do the fundraising to pay at least a portion of student fees.

We are a nonprofit and our mission is to serve students, but we still need to pay our teachers and our overhead. Contact us and explain the specifics of your situation and we will try to work with you.
